How it works
Your job: submit. Our job: everything else.
The retainer removes every piece of friction between "we need this" and "it's live". No briefing documents, no quotes, no re-engagement meetings.
Describe what you need
Submit a request through your client portal. No documents, no lengthy briefs. A title and a short description is enough to get started.
We estimate before we start
Every request gets a work unit estimate before any work begins. You see the cost upfront and confirm before we proceed.
We build, write, or optimise
Design, development, SEO, automation - whatever the request calls for, we handle it. Progress is visible in the portal as it happens.
Sprint summary, every month
At the end of each sprint you get a full summary: tickets closed, work units used, and rollover banked for next month.
What's covered
Eight disciplines. One monthly budget.
Work units are not locked to one service type. Submit whatever your business needs most this sprint.

Packages
One fixed cost. One dedicated team.
Think of it as adding a senior developer and strategist to your team for a fixed monthly cost. No hiring, no HR, no briefing documents.
Agile-friendly by design. Monthly cycles mean you stay in control. Reprioritise, pivot, or add requests without any re-engagement paperwork.
Growth Partner
Consistent delivery for growing businesses. Works like having a part-time senior developer and strategist on your team, without the HR overhead or lock-in contracts.
Base plan. Slide right to add more capacity.
Need more capacity?
Custom work unit plans are available for high-growth businesses and agencies that require dedicated priority access, faster throughput, and tailored monthly allocations. The ceiling is yours to set.
First month delivery guarantee. If we do not deliver meaningful work in your first month, you pay nothing. We stand behind it.
Work units explained
Know the cost before we start.
Each request gets a work unit estimate before we start. Smaller tasks take 1 to 2 WU. Larger builds take 4 to 8 WU. Nothing starts without your sign-off on the estimate.
These are indicative estimates. Every request is assessed individually and estimated before work begins.

Why a retainer
Better than the alternative.
Most businesses patch this together. The retainer replaces all of it.
Hiring a full time dev or designer
The problem
$160K or more per year in salary, super, annual leave, onboarding time, and management overhead. You still need to keep them busy.
With the retainer
Fixed monthly cost. No employment obligations. Pause anytime, you're in charge.
Project to project agency work
The problem
Every task requires a new brief, a new quote, and a new approval cycle. Weeks pass before a simple page goes live.
With the retainer
Submit and it is in the queue. No quoting, no re-engagement. Work flows without the friction.
Juggling four specialists
The problem
A designer, a developer, an SEO consultant, and a copywriter. Four invoices, four timelines, four sources of blame.
With the retainer
One allocation covers everything. Design, dev, SEO, automation, copy - all from one team.
FAQ
Questions answered.
What's a work unit, exactly?
A work unit is our internal measure of effort, similar to a story point but framed for plain English conversations. One WU represents roughly a half day of focused work. Every request gets an estimate before it starts, so you always know what you are spending.
Can I roll unused work units to the next sprint?
Yes. Unused work units roll over to your next sprint, up to a cap of 10 WU. Anything above the cap is forfeited. This keeps scope realistic and prevents large backlogs from building up.
What happens if I need more than 22 WU in one month?
We'll let you know and offer two options: Sprint Acceleration (adding capacity at an agreed rate) or Sprint Advance (pulling work units forward from your next month, which reduces your following month's allocation).
Can I submit any type of request?
Yes - design, development, SEO, automation, copywriting, paid campaign management, bug fixes. If it's digital and it moves your business forward, it's on the table.
What's the minimum contract term?
There is no minimum lock-in. Pause anytime. You are in charge. We would rather earn your ongoing business than hold you to a contract.
Is work outsourced to other agencies or contractors?
Never. All work is done in house by Vikas and the RockingWeb team. No white labelling, no overseas contractors, no juggling handoffs.
What does the first month delivery guarantee mean?
If we do not deliver meaningful, tangible work in your first month, you pay nothing for that month. We have never had to honour it, but it removes any risk from your first month.
How do I submit requests?
Through your dedicated client portal. You get access on day one. Every request, comment, status update, and monthly summary lives there. We also support Jira integration - if you are already running an active sprint in Jira, we can sync directly with your board so your existing workflow stays intact.
